Leading Influence
Ministries
Tim
Schindel is the founder and president of Leading Influence Ministries based in
Victoria BC. Tim's vision is to provide a source of encouragement and blessing
to those who have been called to serve our nation in the political arena. In
just over a year, the influence has spread to Ontario where another chapter is
opening in that province. Tim is a righteous influence at the BC Legislature,
hosting Prayer Breakfasts for MLA's from all parties and spending time with
individual MLA's as needed. The vision is to establish spheres of influence in
each province where politicians are prayed for.

NAME
WITHHELD
RESTRICTED ACCESS
NATION
The
Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada has missionaries in some countries that are
referred to as Restricted Access
Nations (RAN). Typically, RAN's are nations where the government is
dominated by Muslim or Communist ideology. In varying degrees, the Gospel
message is squelched and religious persecution is prevalent. Christians and
Christian workers in these nations often face persecution and even martyrdom.
It
is for security reasons that the PAOC is not able to publish the names and
locations of our workers in RAN's.
These workers are not public
but they are powerful. They are doing a great work in their places of service.
They have given their lives to shine the light of Jesus Christ in places of
darkness. One particular PAOC worker plans to minister to Muslim women in her
community. Her courage and creativity is to be admired.
Please continue to support
her courageous ministry through your prayer support and financial
giving.
COTH supports this woman on
a monthly basis.
Sorry, there is no public
contact.

Mission
Sulawezi
(Indonesia)
Our
outreach to Indonesia began in 2003 with raising support for an Indonesian
couple who desired to plant churches. Our church gave $25 per week for 2 years.
In addition, we raised funds for a motorbike so they could be more mobile in
their ministry. The Sumadi's have now planted 2 churches that are thriving in
the province of Borneo (Kalimantan). Our pastor has gone to see the work
first-hand.
We
cooperate with the Alpha-Omega Education Society based in Surabaya by sending
teams to assist with construction projects, pastor's training schools, ESL in
primary schools, and coming alongside to encourage the body of Christ. Our main
focus is the large island of Sulawezi and the area around
Makale.
COTH has helped in a roofing
project for a small village church in Lolai, built a washroom, helped finish a
church in Kalimantan, provided two motorbikes for pastors and helped pastors and
church planters financially. This is an on-going world outreach and we encourage
those who want to get involved, to plan for a 2- week trip in November of each
year. Cost per individual is about $3000.

El Shaddai Childern's Home
Location: SriRacha Thailand
Located 2 hours (120kms) southeast of Bangkok, in Chon Buri province on the Gulf of Thailand.
The home has been run by Terry and Dave Wharf from Logan Lake for the last 5 years.
This is a second generation Children's home that looks after mainly Hmong Hill Tribe children from the north of Thailand. There have been a total of 20 children, ranging from 6 to 20 yrs of age, living in the home. Some have siblings in the home but all come from poor uneducated single parent families.
Our objective is to raise these children in a loving Christian home so they won't end up in the sex or drug trades. Hopefully they will all become educated and go on to make a difference in their country.
